'Templar's Green' Witham, Essex Tim Ward created an entrance circular ring sculpture, waymarkers and benches for the new-build Templar's Green Bloor Homes Development in Witham. The 'Tree Ring' symbolises wisdom, strength, bounty, beauty and growth which is appropriate to representing history of farming -cultivation and storage of food crops in Witham and surrounding countryside. Witham was the earliest foundation of Templar lands in Britain and the barley & wheat barns at Cressing Temple are the oldest timber-framed barns in the world. | |
