'Fire & Water' Lighting Sculpture - Consultations & Workshops

Circling the Square created a prominent external sculpture for the new-build Bert Williams Leisure Centre in Bilston, Wolverhampton using glass, stainless steel & photographic panels. This work involved wide-ranging community consultations and participatory design workshops. During the installation of this scheme we invited members of the community to view the installation at key milestones, i.e. craning into location (press & photo opportunity), completion & celebratory opening. This process was supported by a dedicated Facebook page about the project informing people about the process and stages to watch out for during the installations.
