Davy Lamp Sculpture, Leamore Park

Artist Tim Ward working with local people & schools in Blakenall, Bloxwich & Leamore of Walsall to develop an art piece for their local park. After public design sessions & school workshops a large scale 4mtrs high Davy Lamp was chosen linking to the areas mining history. The artwork was created in stainless & mild steel and was illuminated internally at night with solar powered LED lighting.
